The S-GR glass opening roof is one of Salinox’s most innovative products. It allows you to fully utilize your space under any weather conditions, providing excellent insulation and protection. Made from a special high-quality aluminum alloy, it can withstand wind, water, and snow loads without compromising your safety and comfort. With folding panels that can be retracted to leave as much opening as possible, it allows unobstructed views of the sky and full utilization of natural light and air.
The glass roof is constructed with aluminum profiles that can be anodized or painted in a wide variety of electrostatic colors. The glass panels are double-tempered and laminated to provide maximum safety, while the upper glass pane is structurally bonded to prevent water ingress.
The sliding roof allows for maximum panel usage, reducing the visual barrier between indoor and outdoor spaces. Automatic electric motors retract the glass, revealing two-thirds of the opening, with smooth and high-quality movement, enhancing the aesthetics of the structure. Each part of the glass roof can be gathered independently, allowing you to open the coverage area in sections. The length of the trusses reaches up to 7.5 meters. Roofs beyond these limits are constructed as gable roofs.
The sliding glass roof is an ideal solution wherever natural lighting and ventilation are desired within the building, such as hotels, dining areas, public buildings, residences, and many other applications. Additionally, it is suitable for covering skylights and for constructing a garden or terrace, if combined with some of Salinox’s series of folding doors or sliding windows.

Design Flexibility: The sliding glass roof can be constructed to fit the specific dimensions of the building opening. Depending on the space requirements, the number and configuration of frames can be adjusted. Additionally, there is the option to select the number of panels to be constructed as operable. For example, to reduce material costs, only half of the panels can be made operable without affecting the visual harmony of the structure.
