Salinox contributed to this landmark project by designing, manufacturing, and installing five sliding glass roof systems, providing maximum flexibility while creating a seamless connection between indoor spaces and the surrounding environment.

Natural Light Above the Spa Pool

A FOS Lite+ sliding glass roof was installed above the indoor spa pool at garden level.

The retractable glass roof floods the underground wellness area with natural daylight and fresh air, creating a unique spa experience. When opened, the pool enjoys a direct visual and physical connection to the landscaped garden, delivering the atmosphere of an outdoor pool while preserving privacy and year-round comfort.

Rooftop with Uninterrupted Sea Views

The hotel’s spectacular rooftop features three FOS Lite+ sliding glass roofs, installed in sequence.

Unlike conventional retractable roof systems, these glass roofs can open completely, as all movable panels slide away into a dedicated parking area on the rooftop. This leaves the entire opening unobstructed, with no fixed sections limiting the view of the sky.

The result is a space that effortlessly adapts to changing weather conditions. On sunny days, it becomes a fully open terrace with panoramic views of the Cretan Sea. When shelter is needed, the glass roofs close smoothly, maintaining a bright, weather-protected environment without compromising the sense of openness.
