Introducing the SB 8010 Aluminum Base for Glass Balustrades.
The SB 8010 system offers a unique solution for glass panel support without the need for vertical columns. Its major advantage over other support systems lies in its quick installation process, eliminating the need for alignment.
This base is installed seamlessly onto the floor and can support glass panels up to 100cm in height with a thickness of 16mm, whether laminated or safety laminated. Glass panel replacement is effortless and does not cause damage to the floor or the system itself.
Featuring a “U” shaped profile, the base supports the glass panels along the entire length of the structure using specialized rigid rubber inserts. These inserts immobilize the glass while allowing for adjustment of the panel’s verticality.
The profile can be anodized (natural anodization or stainless steel imitation satin) and can be painted in any electrostatic RAL color. The base is secured directly onto the final floor using special M8 metallic anchors within the preformed chamber, simplifying glass installation without technical difficulties.
To prevent scratches during processing and installation, the SB 8010 base is coated with a protective film. Additionally, sealing rubber inserts prevent water ingress through the base passage.
Available in 5m and 6m rods, this profile offers versatility and ease of installation for various architectural applications.
