Integrated Solutions with Glass Constructions
Secret View Hotel, Santorini
At the 5-star Secret View Hotel in Santorini, a comprehensive upgrade of both the exterior and interior spaces was carried out using state-of-the-art glass constructions. The project included the installation of F1 folding doors and the Fos Lite+ glass motorized roof in the restaurant area next to the pool, Open Air windbreakers for protection against weather conditions, an automatic glass door at the hotel reception, as well as fixed and sliding glass shower cabins. These innovative solutions combine high aesthetics, functionality, and comfort, enhancing the overall guest experience.
F1 Folding Doors in the Restaurant
In the restaurant area next to the pool, the F1 folding door system was installed, offering flexibility and uninterrupted views. The doors operate with an accordion-style mechanism, where the glass panels are connected by hinges and move smoothly one after the other, enabling easy and quick operation. The absence of vertical aluminum profiles enhances the transparency of the system, preserving unobstructed views of the natural surroundings and the pool. Furthermore, the design does not require a separate storage space for the panels, delivering a sleek and minimal aesthetic that perfectly matches the character of the space.
Fos Lite+ Glass Motorized Roof
Additionally, the Fos Lite+ glass motorized roof was installed in the restaurant area, combining modern technology with exceptional aesthetics. At the push of a button, the movable sections of the roof retract smoothly to the sides, allowing guests to enjoy an open space whenever the weather permits. The construction features 30mm thick double energy-efficient glass panels and an aluminum frame with an electric mechanism, ensuring excellent thermal insulation and natural lighting in the restaurant area. The Fos Lite+ roof creates a bright and welcoming atmosphere while maintaining a seamless connection to the outdoor environment.
Open Air Glass Windbreakers
For additional protection against weather conditions, Open Air glass windbreakers of the up-down type were installed. These windbreakers combine ease of use with elegance. The Open Air system features the minimal possible aluminum frame, giving the space a modern and minimalist character, while the transparency of the glass maximizes the view and allows natural light to flood the area. Its operation is simple and flexible, as the system easily raises and lowers with a single movement, adjusting the level of protection according to the user’s needs. Despite their elegance, the Open Air windbreakers are sturdy and durable, constructed from high-quality aluminum and thermally treated safety glass, ensuring soundproofing and complete protection from external elements.
Automatic Glass Door at the Reception
An automatic glass door was installed at the reception area, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics at the entrance of the hotel. The door operates with a photocell sensor and a sliding automatic mechanism, offering easy and quick access for guests. The transparent glass construction and slim aluminum profile maintain the minimalist character of the space while allowing natural light to fill the area.
The advanced technology of the Zeno Slim system ensures smooth and effortless operation, while also providing features such as remote control, adjustment based on weather conditions, and seasonal settings for greater convenience and efficiency.
