Usage: Ideal for large openings, up to 3m in height.
Operation: Parking-type, each pane is pulled away and parked in a separate area.
Characteristics: Tempered glass (10mm), use of designated, pre-planned parking area, no bottom guide, no aluminum frames, polycarbonate insulation profiles along panel’s full length. Top, bottom and side insulation with brush seals.
Basic dimensions: 105mm for upper and lower aluminum profiles, aluminum track size: 60x53mm or 75x72mm.
The F2 folding doors system is an excellent choice for large openings. It has a wide variety of usages, including in store front windows, external areas (for example in cafeterias or swimming pools), patio entrances or internal space dividers etc. Essentially, the F2 system can be used in any area which needs occasional isolation.
The F2 is a versatile folding door system designed for a wide range of applications. Its flexibility originates from the unlimited number of door leaves that can be utilized, each of which can be isolated from the rest and relocated elsewhere or stored in a remote area (essentially a parking space for the door leaves).
In the F2 folding door system, each leaf is equipped with upper and lower aluminum profiles (rails) to support the glass. Each door locks with locks or floor bolts. The dimensions of the glass panels can be adjusted, taking into account the floor layout and any other installation peculiarities. The movement of the doors is facilitated by rollers that glide along a track mounted on the ceiling. They can be parked in a predefined space without the need for additional floor guides. Each panel is independent, allowing it to pivot and be guided to its storage space.
The aluminum profiles can be painted in a wide range of colors and textures, including natural anodization, stainless steel imitation, and electrostatic paint, offering endless customization possibilities.
Sealing between the doors is achieved with transparent polycarbonate or aluminum components, while sealing between the doors and the wall is achieved with vertical aluminum components featuring synthetic insulating brushes, maximizing overall insulation and waterproofing.
Depending on the dimensions, the appropriate suspension guide for the doors is selected: either 60×53(mm) or 75×72(mm) – the available options based on the section dimensions. With the small guide, door sizes reach up to 100cm in width and 260cm in height (with a maximum leaf weight of 70kg). With the large guide, sizes reach up to 120cm in width and 320cm in height (with a maximum leaf weight of 100kg). Each panel features 10mm safety glass (or 5+4mm laminated safety glass) without holes or cutouts, utilizing a patented glass support technique from Salinox (patent number No. 1004694).
