Use: Suitable for closing a balcony, terrace, on a parapet.
Function: Doors are dragged and parked on the edge (in a vertical position).
Characteristics: Safety glass (thickness 10mm), with floor guide, without aluminum frame, polycarbonate joint covers, insulation with brushes.
Basic dimensions: Lower rubble 50mm – upper rubble 50mm, upper aluminum guide 50x90mm, lower aluminum guide 43x30mm.
The FB series of Salinox is a different family of folding doors, designed for spaces such as terraces and patios, for their protection from bad weather conditions and ease of use. The FB-cr folding glass door system rides on a small, adjustable ground guide that can be installed on any metal, wood, or concrete surface, offering easy and quick installation. A water collector is placed on the floor, ensuring smooth drainage of rain.
Safety glass and locks guarantee the safety and protection of the space, while the simple, minimal design allows for an unobstructed view – which such spaces often need. The doors have the ability to move independently of each other, shaping the space according to your choices, while they can be stored on the side without the use of an additional guide and metal deflection beam, completely freeing up your opening. Waterproofing in FBcr is achieved by covering the gaps between the panels with transparent polycarbonate components. The upper and lower horizontal profiles can be additionally lined with special insulating brushes of various sizes to completely cover the smallest gaps.
The doors have rollers on the upper part, which roll on an aluminum guide with a section of 50x90mm. The bottom guide measures 43x30mm. The maximum recommended dimensions that the system can support are 250cm in height and 60cm in the width of the sheet, while the maximum weight must not exceed 40kg.
Fbcr glass folding doors are an ideal choice for closing a balcony as they are designed to rest against a parapet – as they have a floor guide (rail). Of course, they can also be used for terraces and gardens since the height reaches up to 250cm.
No use of parking: In some cases the use of parking is not desirable for aesthetic reasons.
Minimal design: The metal parts of the system are very thin and discreet, helping to maximize the glass surface.
