Aegli Zappiou, one of the most historic meeting points in the heart of Athens, has returned fully renewed after an intensive phase of renovation. The space has been upgraded to offer high aesthetics and functionality, seamlessly combining timelessness with modern design solutions.
Flexibility and Modern Design
These solutions incorporate contemporary materials, such as double-glazed energy-efficient glass panels, providing thermal and sound insulation, while the sturdy aluminum profiles ensure maximum durability. The newly revamped Aegli Zappiou is now a space that respects its historical identity while meeting the needs of the modern visitor.
Advanced Aluminum and Glass Systems
As part of the project, aluminum frames with thermal break technology and F4w glass folding doors were installed on the ground floor, offering both flexibility and durability. The F4w system, ideal for demanding spaces, connects its panels with hinges, ensuring smooth and easy operation without the need for additional parking space.
Glass Kitchen Partition
A key intervention was the installation of a large glass partition that separates the kitchen from the dining area. The transparency of the structure allows visitors to maintain visual contact with the kitchen’s operations, highlighting the transparency and modern character of the space.
Innovation and Functionality
The F4w glass folding doors offer a modern solution for spaces with high demands, combining reliability and ergonomics. The smart hinge connection system eliminates the need for parking space, providing ease of use and efficient space utilization.
Thermal Insulation and Safety
The F4w doors feature 35mm double-glazed safety energy panels, offering excellent thermal insulation, soundproofing, and durability. The robust aluminum profiles are connected with specialized male and female sections, ensuring maximum insulation and security in demanding environments
